How do I add a liability?

  • You can link a client’s liability directly to Advizr or you can manually add a liability to a client’s plan. To add a liability, navigate to Profile > Accounts > Add Account. Here you can link an account or choose to manually add an account. You have to option to add a credit card, mortgage, installment, line of credit, or student loan.
  • To view the detail of your client’s liability payments, navigate to Reports > Cash Flow > Outflows > Liability Expenses.
  • To view the detail of your client’s remaining balance on outstanding liabilities, navigate to Reports > Balance Sheet > Liabilities. The payments made and interest incurred will be detailed in a pop-up window when you hover your mouse over the balance of each respective year.
  • Note: Simulated loans will grow at the interest rate you input in Settings under the Assumptions tab. The interest will be added annually to the loan balance.
